2012 Application Process Non-European Applicants  

STEP 1. APPLY 

  • Read ALL the information regarding Camp Europe program (including theFrequently Asked Questions section as well as the Terms & Conditions)
  • Once you are sure this program suits your interests; you must access the Online Application_Form

 

NOTES:

Acess to the Online Application Form is now Restricted, due to high volume of applicants.

In order to request access to our on line aplication form, please send an email to apply@campeurope.ca      

Keep in mind your application will go to the top of the waiting list.

STEP 2. INTERVIEW

Once our selection committee has reviewed your application, you will be contacted by email to set up an interview.

(the interview will be face-to-face, via telephone, or video conference depending on your location).

In order to confirm the booking of an interview, you will be required to make a deposit of $50, which will be deducted from the total fee.
In the event that the selection committee belives that your profile does not match with what we look for, we will let you know by email, and you will recieve a 100% refund of your deposit.

STEP 3. PLACEMENT OFFER PACKAGE 

Upon a succesfull interview & a second review of your profile, a placement offer package will be sent to you, You will have 21 days in order to confirm your participation, by sending us back the signed agreement and required documents.

The Placement Offer Package includes:

  • A welcome letter from the camp head director, Jan Vieth.
  • A Preliminary Placement Offer
  • A Memorandum of Understanding for you to sign as a preliminary contract.
  • A Catalogue of what each camp site has to offer.
  • Information regarding training sessions.
  • Information Regarding logistics; transfers and shuttles.
  • A description list of duties and responsibilities for each position at camp.
  • A description of what a regular day looks like.
  • A packing list.
  • A list with hints and advice for traveling, cheap and light. 
  • A list of ALL documents you must provide us.

STEP 4. DOCUMENTATION

You will need to provide the following documents, along with the fee payment.

  • Copy of your valid passport
  • Signed acceptance of the 2012 Memorandum of Understanding        
  • Valid First Aid Certificate
  • Recent Non-Criminal Record Check
  • Copy of Plane Ticket
  • Total Fee payment of $350

 

STEP 5. PAYMENT

Money is always tight, specially for students;
we know that, we were students ourselves not too long ago.

  • That´s why the fee we charge has remained the same ever since we got started.

(7 years without raising our fees, despite economic turmoils!)

 

It is Important for you to know when and what you need to pay for.

  • After receiving a Placement Offer Package, in order to confirm your placement, you must submit a copy of your plane ticket and pay the 

Total Fee of $ 350 dollars.

This fee is to cover the necessary costs as outlined;

  •  Interview associated costs 
  • Registration fee.
  •  Processing fee.
  •  Shuttle service to training site
  •  Training sessions
  •  Pocket money for transfers
  •  Full Room & Board during placement
  •   Medical coverage while on placement
  • NOTES> 
  • A deposit of $50 is needed to book an interview.
  • If Camp Europe is unable to offer you a placement according to your time availability and preferences, this deposit will be 100% refundable to the applicant. The Fee will not be collected from those applicants to whom Camp Europe is not capable or decides not to offer them a placement after the interview
  • If Camp Europe offers a placement, then this $50 are deducted from the Total Fee.
